September 4-Tuck Up

Too much noise from the rapid to read this morning.

 Needed rock chocks and carabiners to tie the boats. With safety ropes secured, we waded the river to explore the world of Matkatamiba.

Just in case the silence of Matkat was too calming, Upset was right around the corner.

Havasu

(After scouting Upset, we ran through two at a time.  Matkatamiba – thanks to everyone for getting us up there!  Havasu was a hike for some, a swim for some, and combination of both for some.  Long day….late into camp.  We are tired.  Rattlesnake at the beach……)
